WHO I AM
I’m Conor Tacopina, a writer, artist, and world-builder dedicated to creating stories that feel alive. I had a childhood dream of becoming a paleontologist, fueled by my fascination with dinosaurs. As I matured, my interests shifted towards art and storytelling, leading me to explore the depths of my imagination. My work blends imagination, emotion, and visual expression, whether I’m developing characters, crafting lore, or illustrating scenes that pull you into another world.
For me, creativity isn’t just a skill, it’s the place where my ideas live. Through writing and artwork, I explore worlds, cultures, creatures, and perspectives that go beyond the familiar. I eventually embraced the joy of connecting with fellow creatives, and now I'm excited to share my passion with you!
My Creative Journey

Ever since I was little, I loved expressing myself through art, whether it be drawing, painting, or anything in between. But it wasn't until my first year of middle school that I truly began my creative journey. As part of an art class assignment, we had to create a piece that told a story, and as I worked on it, the more inspired I got. It made me realize my calling, and so I dedicated myself to one day becoming a professional animator.
In October of 2023 I took my first big step into official creative productions by becoming a member of the independent DreamArc Animation Studios. My responsibilities primarily involve writing with occasional assignments involving editing and character design. Regardless of what is asked of me I give my full dedication to finishing a given task as a firm believer in the message DreamArc stands for about giving everyone their chance to share their passion for imagination with others.
I began a position as a member of another small indie animation studio, Manning-Colonia Media, where my duties involve the writing, character design, storyboarding, animation, and editing of artistic animated shorts, each with a central theme.
MY VISION
I believe stories should be immersive enough to make people feel like they’ve stepped into a new reality. My goal is to continue expanding my creative worlds, sharing my process, and connecting with people who love powerful storytelling through both words and art.
